On Monday 27 October 2025, the District Clerk certified the petition of Denise Geis-Goehringer for commissioner and is the sole candidate for commissioner. The ballot allows for write-in candidates.

​9 Oct 12 Noon Petitions to run for Commissioner, for a three-year term commencing 1/1/2026, are available in the MPD Office
​​
27 Oct Noon Petitions are due in the MPD Office. The District Clerk will then certify the petition(s) for Commissioner.

13 Nov Absentee Ballot Applications Due if the ballot is to be mailed

19 Nov Absentee Ballot Applications Due if the ballot will be collected in person
​​
20 Nov from 3 to 8PM Vote for Commissioner, Veterans Memorial Park

20 Nov 8PM Absentee Ballots Due if delivered in person
