Parks & Beaches

The Mattituck Park District owns 63 acres of properties situated between Great Peconic Bay and the Long Island Sound. They include beaches, parks, a boat ramp and dockage for transient boats, wetlands, lakes, and athletic fields.  One of our parks has a nature path through a native pollinator meadow.

Our beaches are some of the North Fork's most beautiful. Two are situated on the Long Island Sound and two on Peconic Bay. We offer kayak and paddleboat storage at some of our properties.

Our properties are owned by the district residents, but are available for rental for anyone's events: please check our Venue page for more information. (Residents get preferential booking and pricing.)
