Our venues, parks, and beaches are perfect for your next event or meeting. We host weddings, graduation parties, baby showers, birthday parties, memorials, business meeting and retreats, catered dinners, lectures, and any other occasion that benefits from a beautiful setting.

Please call or text the office on 631-298-9103 to make an appointment to visit any of the venues or properties. Applications and payment must be done in person, whenever the office is open.
Our facilities may be booked for the current year only through Labor Day; we begin to accept reservations for the following year after Labor Day. ​​

​You’ll notice Mattituck/Laurel residents get a significant discount on our spaces, even more so in the off-season. Out-of-town residents may book a rental, if space is available, 60 days prior to their proposed event.

A Security & Damages Deposit is required which is dependent on residency.

Using a caterer and serving alcohol? Your caterer will need to be licensed and insured in compliance with the NYS Liquor Authority and have the proper forms on file with us. We have a list of local caterers, tent companies and other related service providers who have a history of complying with our policies.

Community Room at Veterans Park
The Community Room at Veterans Memorial Park overlooks Peconic Bay and is available to rent year-round. It's a perfect venue for weddings, receptions, meetings and retreats.
The room rental accommodates up to 75 people indoors and includes access to a prep-kitchen with plenty of counter space. Tables and chairs (but not linens) are included; we offer configurations using round or rectangular tables. We also offer access to fiber-optic WiFi, and two 55" HD displays. The room rental also gives you the outdoor covered porch with picnic tables that overlooks the West Lawn area, the beach, and Peconic Bay. Including seating at the picnic tables, you can host up to 99 people.
If you are hosting up to a 100 people and do not want to use the picnic tables, you can provide a tent overlooking the dune or to the west of the Community Room. If you have between 100 and 200 guests, you can book the Veterans Memorial Park Picnic Area too and provide a tent.

The Picnic Area at Veterans Memorial Park
Adjacent to the Community Room at Veterans Memorial Park is a large picnic area overlooking Peconic Bay. The 7,000 sq. ft. picnic area is 50' wide x 140' deep and can accommodate up to of 200 people and tents up to 20' x 20' and larger. This area can be rented separately or along with the community room. ​
Bailie Beach Lodge
The Bailie Beach Lodge is located on the east side of the Mattituck Inlet in the upland area of "Oregon Hills" on picturesque sand dunes overlooking the Long Island Sound and Mattituck Inlet. The property was acquired in 1943 by the Mattituck Park District. Formerly part of the Mira Bailie estate, the land is surrounded by wetlands to the west and south, sometimes referred to as the Oregon Marsh Tidal Wetlands.
The Lodge has a large hall, commercial kitchen, deck, views, and beach access. It’s a perfect wedding or reception venue, but is also suited for meetings, parties, retreats, and other events. Local Boy Scout and Girl Scout Troops often have meetings and events here, and the lodge is rented by other Long Island Scouts for camping outings and overnights; the facility offers a shower.
The lodge can seat 140 people around six 6'-round tables and four 6'-rectangular tables.
Fifty people can camp on the property at one time; we have a 10-camper minimum (scouts and chaperones).

Breakwater Beach
The Pavilion
Breakwater Beach overlooks the Long Island Sound and has a pavilion with picnic tables and volleyball courts. While any Mattituck-Laurel resident is generally welcome to bring a picnic hamper and enjoy the view, the pavilion is available to rent for events with up to 48 guests.

The Mattituck Park District maintains volleyball courts at Breakwater Beach which are generally for Mattituck-Laurel residents for pickup play. The courts are available for rent by leagues or for special events.

Soccer Fields on Aldrich Lane
The Mattituck Park District owns and maintains soccer fields on Aldrich Lane in Laurel. These fields are generally available for pickup play by Mattituck-Laurel residents. Leagues and special events may book the fields for the season or one-off games.
